Do you use wood pellet fuel to heat your home?

Yes, we have been using wood pellets for many years. We constantly strive to improve the brands we carry and regularly test different brands to compare their performance.

Do you sell bagged coal?

Yes, we are proud to offer Blaschak bagged Anthracite coal in Rice, Nut, and Pea sizes. The coal is mined locally in Poland.

What is your return policy?

We carefully inspect every ton of heating fuel before it leaves our facility and upon delivery to your home. While we package our products securely, we recommend storing them indoors or under cover to protect them from the weather. If you receive damaged bags of pellets due to moisture before delivery, please contact us within 7 days, and we will gladly replace them.

Does softwood burn faster than hardwood?

Softwood pellets do not burn faster than hardwood pellets. While softwood pellets produce more heat, they have similar burn times to hardwood pellets. Softwood pellets also leave a lighter and fluffier ash and offer the benefit of clean-burning resins with a higher BTU value.

What’s the difference between your softwood brands?

All our softwood pellets are excellent in terms of burning hot and clean. The difference lies in the species of sawdust used in their production and the compatibility with your stove. Please refer to our comparison chart for more details.

What if I receive damaged wood pellets?

We take full responsibility for the products we sell. However, please keep in mind that some of our wood pellets travel long distances to reach us, so occasional damage may occur. We ask customers to inspect their wood pellets visually within 7 days of pickup or delivery. If you find any water-damaged bags, please contact us, and we will make it right.

Can I pick up pellets without placing an online order?

Certainly! You are welcome to visit our shop during our open pickup hours. While it is recommended to place an order or contact us in advance, it is not necessary. Preordering helps expedite your pickup process.

How much do your wood pellets cost?

We offer six brands of wood pellet fuel, both by the bag and by the skid. Pricing varies across brands. You can find our current inventory and pricing on our Store/Order Now page.

Do you deliver year-round?

No, our Paletes de madeira and Bagged Coal deliveries start in July and typically end in mid-February, depending on delivery requests and weather conditions. During the fall, when delivery requests are higher, we operate our trucks six days a week. We reduce the number of trucks in service during the slower summer and holiday seasons.

Can I pay cash for delivery?

If you prefer to pay cash, you can drop off the payment at our sales office before the delivery. Alternatively, you can send a personal check to the mailing address provided.

How fast is the delivery?

Our delivery time frame is usually 2-3 days, depending on the time of year and the number of deliveries in your area. During the busy fall season, it may take 4-8 days for delivery. After you place an order, we appreciate your patience as we map your address and coordinate the logistics. We will confirm the delivery date with you in advance via email or your preferred method of communication. In case of inclement weather, we may postpone a delivery to ensure driver safety.
